Permanent Full Time Employee as a Rope access manager, I will be responsible for implementing the rope access procedures and compliance with IRATA requirements and the management of field workers. I will also perform NDT functions including but not limited to project coordination, RSO assistance, technology development, and NDT and Rope access equipment maintenance. My Essential job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to: • Demonstrate and ensure an overall commitment to safety. • Express a strong work ethic and NDT aptitude. • Direct, instruct, and be a positive role model to the Level I&II technicians. • Order and maintain rope access and NDT inventories. • Investigate rope access incidents • Operate as the primary point of contact of IRATA • Conduct project walk-downs. • Ensure follow the IRATA ICOP • Monitor closely both worksite and personnel for rope access safety and to be able to identify any shortfalls in the required competence of those personnel; • A through knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment • Complete and maintain relevant IRATA documentation; and • The authority to make decisions to ensure the safety of rope access technicians, the public and the rope access worksite.
